What is your most wicked childhood memory (interpret wicked as you please)? Truth or dare …
You’ll just have to do 10 cartwheels if you decline to answer … 😂

These are fun, but you have to play along too – it’s only fair. When I was four, my best friend and I were playing in my Dad’s car, pretending to drive to the store. Even though I’d been warned, I decided to see what would happen if I moved the stick on the steering wheel. Turns out I put the car in reverse and across the busy road we sailed, adults screaming and yelling after us, until the car came to a clunking stop in the ditch.

Try this for size, posted yesterday https://mkmacinnes.com/2021/03/31/the-turning/ Opening para also explains why I’ve been quiet these past few weeks.

Yes. I read and reread this. There is so much here – echoes many of my own conversations in therapy.

This is very similar to something that happened to me, except that it was my brother wot released the handbrake. My parents car was parked on a slope while they were in the pub in full view of the enormous window where they sat. Their faces were priceless as it dawned on them that the car was within about half a minute of making contact with that window. Never seen my dad scramble so fast to get out that door …
